At The Joy Project, are primary mission is centered on mental health, recovery, and strength for those affected by eating disorders. Moreover, we acknowledge that our mission relies on the broader situations people inhabit.
The Joy Project stands with Minnesota which encompasses the immigrants who are integral for our state. We are aware and deeply concerned by the events and actions that have elicited immense fear and harm for our community. We believe everyone belongs here and that no one should have to suffer with fear of their safety.
We are appreciative of the local organizations and individuals in Minnesota who are advocating for our community. We have included plenty of these resources below that are offering support such as legal, advocacy, mental health, and mutual aid.
ACLU of Minnesota – Legal advocacy and defense of civil liberties across the state.
Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota – Provides legal services, education, and policy advocacy for immigrant communities.

MIRAC – Grassroots organizing and advocacy for immigrant justice.
